    MK,

I'm afraid it will be hard for those three individuals to split your two cents!

    Yours truly,

    Tom Wescott

P.S. Note that this is likely the first time Wolf V and Simon W have been considered together as a group.

        High all,

I have no one in particular.

Besides Begg, Evans, Fido, and Rumbelow, and the whole of the forums.

        Yours truly.

        p.s thanks mike.

Special thanks to Wolf Vanderlinden and Lynn Cates, you know why.
        Washington Irving:

"To a homeless man, who has no spot on this wide world which he can truly call his own, there is a momentary feeling of something like independence and territorial consequence, when, after a weary day's travel, he kicks off his boots, thrusts his feet into slippers, and stretches himself before an inn fire. Let the world without go as it may; let kingdoms rise and fall, so long as he has the wherewithal to pay his bills, he is, for the time being, the very monarch of all he surveys. The arm chair in his throne; the poker his sceptre, and the little parlour of some twelve feet square, his undisputed empire. "

I would like to thank Glynn at The Bell.

Oh, and Kirsty and The Princess Alice.

Lucy at The 10 Bells and the girl who served me in the White Hart, whose name I forgot but she split Johns vino and had to get another.

Lol, Proto created this thread to thank contributors to the boards and then proceeds to thank 6 people, only one of whom actually posts here. I guess that set the pace. But I stand behind my selections. And I'll take some doughnuts, token female, whatever your name is.

I would not like to thank Beethoven. What has he contributed to Ripperology in the last 30 years?

Great composer, but overrated as a Ripperologist.

Beethoven's gone but his music lives on..
And Mozart don't go shoppin' no more
You'll never hear Liszt or Brahams again,
And Elber doesn't answer the door

Shubert and Chopin used to chuckle and laugh
                            Whilst composing a long symphony
                            But 150 years later
There's not much of them left to see

                            They're decomposing composers
There's less of them every year
You can say what you like to Debussy
But the chanmces are that he won't hear..

I'd like to additionally thank Robert. I don't know why. But what the heck?

                            best wishes
