Having just been reading about the Crook family and all the theories surrounding them and Clarence,Sir William Gull and John Netley,i find that, regardless of all the conspiracy theories out there, just reading about the grandmother, mother and daughter and what they went through in life at that time is a fascinating example of the hardships facing people in Victorian England.
You can't help but feel for them the way they were bashed by life from pillar to post.
Anybody else share any views on them ?
