    project: elimination

This thread is intended to remove persons of interest from our consideration. As we collectively constitute a community, we get to decide the state of cases presented by our peers. This thread is for our consideration as a whole, our peers will evaluate our cases, and evidence to reach a descision. At the bottom of the page is a add poll option, if you submit evidence for consideration on a new person of interest, please activate the poll so we can all see the results. All persons on the suspect page are fair game. Good Luck and Good Hunting !

My hope was that some of the more knowlegeable persons submit evidence to remove persons from the "suspect" list. Surely someone can eliminate the prince? Come on people, lets at least act like we are doing something.

It's a good idea, Dave. That's why I voted in your poll on Lewis Carroll and furnished information from one of the knowledgeable people, Mr. Menges. See that there. So he's out, Carroll.

OK, another one who is out is Michael Ostrog. He was named by a top policeman, but he was actually in prison in France. Everyone agrees. Don't know where the info is exactly, it's all over the place, (McNaughten thread?) but it's true. He's out.

      So there is two.

        Re: Ostrog,

Dave, none other than Stewart Evans recently posted authentic information from the period here on Casebook about Ostrog. Maybe go back through his posts, or somehow you could find it again.

Dave, have you read the Macnaughten Memo? There are four suspects right there. Cutbush, Kosminski, Druitt and Ostrog.

We have eliminated one of them.

        Hope this helps,

        Roy

Thanks Roy, it's already a long road, the least we can do is shorten the walk for others.

Can we agree that Neill Cream is eliminated, as he was imprisoned in America at the time? And also Dr. Gull, since he was 72 years old and had recently suffered a stroke, and since Joseph Sickert eventually admitted that his whole royal conspiracy story was "a whopping fib."

              Yes.

So there's Carroll, Ostrog, Cream, and Gull.
