    Hi Philip,

Carrying on with the concept, a steady cam could be rented and it would allow for the flow of the walk without the motion of the cameraman. Its not a one man project I wouldnt think, nor does it need to be funded by just one party, or Ripper Tour Guide or Philanthropist. I could see many individuals in this field assisting you or someone to pull resources together, and I believe the return on investment could be quite significant. I can also see all sorts of site linkage sold to theme books, films, or plays,...online auctions of memorabilia, ....experts in Ripper literature could offer some dialogue here and there, it could be a one-stop shop for information on the crimes, and even a good vehicle for Stephen to link resources with to attract new memberships or ad revenue.

I think the best part though is this.....24/7 access to paying tourists, and it wouldnt detract from the atmosphere and interaction of the physical experience for those that can take advantage of it. Which right now are the only ones of those two groups that can pay to take the walk...and the fewest in numbers by far. A well promoted site like that could expect thousands of visitors a day, and likely many paying customers.

You could actually up the price of the actual walk for the enhanced experience of being at that "spot"...whichever... live. If someone cannot make the trip to see you.....doesnt mean they wouldnt if they could simulate that experience but for far less money and no effort at all on their part.

    Happy New Year Philip.

Hi guys. I am pretty much 100% certain it was the correct tour - the lady (Annette) had a sheet with all our booking info on it. I had been looking forward to this tour for months so was pretty disappointed in our guide we're back in London on the 6th till the 8th so I'm hoping to pop out with my wee map to have a nosey before flying home

        Hi Becks

I understand your guide is indeed someone who works for the same company as John and myself, though I don't personally know them. Unfortunately, I have to say I think MOST Ripper guides are pretty poor. I can count on one hand the amount I think can cut it. Only one of them works for another company, and I think everyone can guess who that is!

^ Ha! Suzi, you are going down a road so obscure that even London Jobbers will have trouble remembering it!

For those who don't know : during a London Job in 2006 we found a chalk stick man on the pavement at the corner of Osborn Street and Old Montague Street.

                  Phil,

Don't forget the 'MK' that was chalked on the side of a house that was almost on the site of the Old Montague Street Mortuary!
