    how he met the victim
Possibly in the same way that Mr Blotchy had met her. We really don't know.
    how he got her alone
She was alone already - a situation the killer didn't have to engineer.
    how he subdued her
How, indeed... I wish we knew.
what hand he held the knife with
We don't know that either but, suffice to say that whatever handedness the killer possessed, he'd have to have negotiated the setup of the room somehow.
    Kind regards, Sam Flynn

      Sam,

The profile of the victims before Mary Kelly is middle-aged, working the streets at the time, and without a home, or a paid room the night they are killed. Mary as a Ripper victim changes all that.

Since she came home and sang almost the entire time her room was lit and noise could be heard from it, hardly a trick. There is not one single account of Mary Kelly bringing men to her room for paid sex....not one neighbour said it, neither did Maria. Since she lived the entire time in Millers Court with Barnett, and he didnt like her "selling herself on the streets", her opportunity to even start to do so is only present from Oct 30 until November 7th. We roughly know what she did the eve of Nov 8th.

If the killer went to her room by himself, how did he know she would be alone? Its one thing to stumble across an unfortunate working alone near a viable alley, its another to locate their room, and go there unnanounced and expect to gain entry.

Mary Jane is cut while struggling with her assailant, that means he used his knife before subduing her. Another first.

The killer in Mitre Square subdued the woman apparently noiselessly, cut her throat when she was down on the ground, and aside from some facial mutilations, focussed his cutting stabbing and slicing from her breastbone to her groin. That is what JtR...or Mr X...is believed to do with his women.

For Mary, it is suggested by the blood evidence that she was on the right hand side of the bed, near the top right corner, when the attack is begun or ongoing. A right handed killer would by neccessity have to be above her to use the knife effectively....and we have no way of knowing if he was kneeling over her. We just know that to attack a victim from the left side with a right hand, cutting her from the front most likely, not from the back, is awkward...it is far easier with a left hand. There is medical opinion that he was left handed....Marys killer that is. Jack supposedly was right.

I think if people were to stop seeing Jack in actions and details that have no resemblance to the profile he created prior to those kills.....im speaking of Liz and Mary, then we would once again be at the place the authorities were, but without their conjecture on a single mad serial suspect.

There is no JtR...there is a killer or killers, there is no sexual sadist spree...there are murders that show that potential,... there is no single man the authorities believed was responsible, therefore there is no "series".

Unsolved murders using knives on unfortunates. A bunch of them.
And for my money, Mary Ann, Annie, Kate and Alice could easily be by one man.

      Best regards Sam
