  • If you could.....?

A bit like the other thread but this time you get to go back and ask anyone connected with the case one question. What would you ask?? And none of the obvious please, not asking the victims 'who done it'!

    Hi,
If I could go back to to that historic time, I would ask George Hutchinson to confirm that he was George William Topping, and then i would feel satisfied...
that I was right all along...
    Regards Richard.

And if he does confirm it, of course he's telling the truth, and won't be whispering "sucker!" behind your back.

            Kat,
Don't think I'd ask 'em anything but I'd look 'em all up and say 'If I was you missy I wouldn't go talkin' to any shifty lookin' geezers on 31st Aug,8th Sept etc...you get the idea

Ahhh but you can't intereact in that way. You must only ask 1 question to 1 person.

I might ask MJK what her fave hangover cure was!

MJK's real name, and perhaps her birthday.

I would ask Hutchinson if he had any difficulty in reaching the door latch via the broken window.

I would ask Mary if she knows Mr Hutchinson, the famous philanthropist.

I would ask Mrs P to see Diddles, then hold him hostage so that no shoulder walking took place
'Would you like to see my African curiosities?'

I expect Mary Jane's usual method was another beer and a good barf.

As far as one question, I might ask PC Long exactly where the graffiti was written on the wall on Goulston Street. Not that it matters that much, but I'd like to know how visible it was to the general public. I might help clear up whether it was there before the night of the murders and if it was actually connected to them.
