He's a process-focused killer, he's a majoritarily disorganised killer, and his mutilations and victim group were sexually focused. He's quite obviously a sexually driven killer with an obsession with blood and guts - so he's likely to have been one of those evolutionary killers who started on cats and dogs, and moved onto people. In this light, the idea of him attacking and even blackmailing prostitutes seems possible, if he has a deep-seated hatred of prostitutes or a sexual resentment of women, again something which is almost a truism.
