There are two ways to be fooled, one is to believe what isn't true, the other is to refuse to believe that which is true.

It could simply be that as a doctor Bond took offense at any suggestion that the Ripper could be a fellow doctor. Therefore he would have been reluctant to assign any medical skills to what the killer did.

An interesting side note - a very well known American company who featured heavily in the bursting of the housing market bubble which threw the American economy into a deep recession is using a rather unique legal defense in the course of litigation. They are attempting to argue that an opinion, by definition, can't really be said to be wrong. It is, as stated, simply an opinion. We'll have to see how that plays out.

You can only be sued over an opinion when you are being paid for it.
I expect they'll go down in a screaming heap, if that's the entirety of the defence,as they were being paid for the opinions they were giving outG U T

I would suspect that someone of bonds stature would not have to take the risk of killing and mutilating out on the streets."Is all that we see or seem

His 'opinion' is based on the other doctors work. It's not possible to come to that conclusion truthfully.Take another look at the Mylett case, what is most likely,a garotting or a dodgy collar?Look at the Chipperfield case under the Bond being Bond thread. Riding roughshod over other doctors opinions is part of his MO,it would seem.If his TOD for Kelly is accepted who does it point to?

why would someone of Bonds stature have to take the risk to kill and mutilate on the streets? Surely someone with his werewithall could have done It in a private location? No?"Is all that we see or seem

Hello Elmore,
It is common nowadays to have trials where both sides present expert witnesses all of whom have impeccable credentials and who come to completely different conclusions. It doesn't necessarily imply that someone is lying. They are simply giving their opinions.
You seem to be concluding that Bond was lying simply because you don't agree with his opinions.
