    Doc George Phillips

sorry if this is a really silly question as i am new to this, but here goes.
The doctor in the Annie Chapman case feels the murder took place around four in the morning, which obviously dont tie up with the witness accounts(sightings of Annie)

So is it doctor Phillips who has it wrong,or are the witness's not to be trusted?again i apologise if it is a silly question(and asked before)and thanks for any help

Most believe in the witness accounts. Philips does concede at the inquest it was rather cold that morning so he could be wrong. Philips was the kind of guy who went by the book and tried to give a professional opinion only. In reality we will never know as witness accounts are notoriously unreliable and forensic examination crude to say the least.
