The Search function appears not to be working. Or is it me?
Simon
Hi Simon.
I have noticed in the past year that the Search function doesn't always work. It sometimes responds 'no results' even when one knows there should be results.
I think it only happens when one doesn't log in, however. At least that's what I have concluded, so maybe try logging in if you haven't already.
Meanwhile, I hope the high winds, the floods, the earthquakes, and the weekly mass shootings aren't disturbing your neck of the woods too much.
We are sorry to inform everyone that Google is no longer allowing independent sites to use their search feature "in site". There will not be a quick fix to this. The search bar has therefore been removed on the main site. We are going to try a work around, but it might take some time. You can still "search" Casebook by typing in our address casebook.org and your key word on any search engine platform (boycott Google they suck), but Google won't allow us to generate a list of links in site, it blocks them.
The search feature on the forums should still be operatable, it is a "in house" search feature that was built into the forum software and is not related to Google.
Most probably, the company is very unpopular today on any number of different websites with extensive archives.
I saw the page said 'enhanced by Google', but I thought 'in-house' meant the search was limited to data contained on this website (like Newspapers), as opposed to across the globe on the WWW.
