  • Invalid server response

    Hello all,

I'm a new member and I am getting a popup saying "Invalid server response - please try again" every thirty seconds or so while I am typing a post. I'm also being logged off after a short time eve when I am still active.

Can anyone help with this problem please?

    Cheers, George

George, I’m the person that you least want to take notice of on tech issues but…

A year or two ago this was happening to me but I can’t recall the message that was on my screen. I think that I solved it after being advised to click on ‘remember me’ when logging in?

I could be wrong George but it might be worth a try. If it works I’ll be happier than if I’d discovered who was Jack the Ripper.
    Regards

      Herlock,
Your suggestion worked. Thank you very much indeed. It was driving me ratty. My wife would add that it's not a drive but a short putt. And as a reward I shall now reveal to you the identity of JtR.........well.....maybe later.

      Cheers and thanks, George

I’m quite well known in my Shire for being knowledgable about Tech.
Wherever I go, i can hear people say “look at that tech-head over there”

At least that’s what I think they’re saying.
