Search box's - why don't they work?

As a stopgap, perhaps a Google "inurl" search will help. For example, try entering this in your browser:

"unique phrase" inurl:forum.casebook.org

With the phrase you're looking for between the quotes, keeping the quotes if you mean to look for those specific words.

In this new layout we have two new Search windows. One at the far right on the same line as Casebook Jack the Ripper.
The second Search window is just below the first, but on the same line as Post Reply, the window is just right of center.

Is one a forum search, and the other a thread search? - and why don't they work?

I am looking at a specific post with a unique phrase, but when I put that phrase in either window to test the search I get "no results".
I'm looking at the post, in exists.
Why don't these search box's work, can you look into this?
