This year marks 25 years of connubial bliss arising from when the Admin and the website owner met on this very site. We have a lot of personal plans for this year, that involves a lot of personal milestones, a lot of them will be taking us out of the country for extended periods of time and we will be without constant internet access.
We're doing our best to get away from the irritations of a life spent chained to the internet, 24 hour news cycles, the decline of Western Civilization, and you know... aggravation in general and we don't want to be bothered.
To wit: Admin response time on all things will be DELAYED. This includes New Poster Registrations, Report Posts, and all other aspects of moderating this site.
There are certain subjects that take up a lot of moderator time, and which generate the most report posts. Be ADVISED: If a particular thread/subject consumes a lot of moderator time, that entire subject might be banned from discussion until Dec 1 2025 (and possibly beyond til after the new year.) For example, if we get multiple report posts on a Kosminski thread, the entire subject of Kosminski might be locked, closed for discussion for the rest of the year.
If someone erroneously reports posts that are not violations of the rules, because they WANT to get a subject/person shut down, .... well, we just strongly recommend you don't do that. We will take you deliberately ******* with our peace for petty retaliation *with extreme personal prejudice*.
If we get multiple report posts on ANY threads, then we will shut down discussion to maximize *our peace* and maintain our mood, which currently is not pleased with life in general.
This post is not aimed at the general masses, but there's always one or two people out there...
