      The view looking West from Queen Victoria Square towards Carr Lane, were Deeming bought a suit, the recipt was found on his person after he was arrested for defrauding a jewellry store.

        A shot of Queen Victoria Square, taken from the top of Whitefriargate, Carr Lane is on the extreme left of the picture, everything else has changed including the statue of William Wilberforce which has been moved to the Hull College. Shame

          No thread on Deeming would be complete without a period shot of Hull Prison.
          The building has changed dramatically over the years but this is what it would have looked like during Deeming's time of imprisonment.
