  • New synopsis of the case by Campbell Gold.

I accidentally stumbled across this 24-page synopsis of the Ripper case, which appears to have only recently been uploaded to the net.

It's a wonderfully clear and concise piece of work, and beautifully presented.

Curiously, it was written by a hypnotost called Campbell Gold.

I noticed an error appertaining to George Chapman and will email Mr Gold and let him know. I wonder if other than this the article is an accurate synopsis of the case. I'd be glad to hear others' opinions of it.

I've since discovered that Mr Gold has written five or six PDF documents about the Ripper case. I've downloaded them.

I seem to have discovered how to create an invisible thread.

Just saw the suspect list ā la Russo; Charles Warren, Robert Anderson and the Duke of Marlborough together with five or six dozen others, "portuguese cattlemen" included.

        No Lechmere, though.

        Itīs a slow, slow world.

        the best,
        Fisherman
