Angry Annie's memorial to be removed

The private cemetery where Annie lies has taped her grave off and put up a sign saying they plan to remove, among others, her grave memorial.

If it's being done to stop a lot of traffic from merchants of morbid curiosity, I can sort of understand.

How many people visit the memorial? I can't imagine that it's coachloads? Surely it's little more than any other grave site?

Seems a bit strange to me?

According to DarkPassenger's post, they will be moving Annie's memorial "among others". Wonder what that means?

A bit sad.

But understandable, here in Aus they are starting to re use graves.

Here in Oz,the grave is usually leased for 25 to 100 years.
Sometimes longer.

Lots, sic,of local Gov'ts already have no remaining capacity.
