OK well if you want to get ridiculous, if she hard ordered Obama's head on a platter for starters instead of the cheeseboard then I think she would have reasonable grounds to refuse service.

The Gay person had been a customer of the christian bakery for some time I believe so they were never refused service because they were gay.

Her father, Mike Huckabee, even called it 'discrimination.' Really? According to the owner, Sarah was refused service for being a liar that lacked compassion. Are self-indulgent liars now a protected class under Trump?
It is discrimination...but I believe a business must have the freedom to refuse service for whatever reason they like....but I will judge those reasons.

Let's keep it real. Had Sanders been a ' bleeding heart Liberal,' we all know that Trump would have tweeted something along the lines of "well, the pig looks like she could have stood to skip a meal or two anyway!' and his followers would have LOVED him for it.
Agreed, although I think he reserves "pig" for Rosie....good call though, you could get a job being his twitter monkey.

Every day in every way Sarah's boss sows discord: taunts, insults, vulgarity, transparently false statements.
He occasionally sows discord, but he seems more interested in building doors in big beautiful walls.

So pretending to be shocked that our society is increasingly divided is ridiculous. Trump loves division and conflict and confrontation. It's his entire shtick. It's what got him elected.
Yes Obama divided America, he created President Trump, I'm guessing Barak is now regretting insulting Trump at that breakfast thing that made Trump determined to get his job?

These sad events won't end until the U.S. elects someone who demands civility and practices it.
Yeah, but until then just sit back and enjoy the ride of having a good president....the baddie progressives will get in again sometime, it always happens.
My opinion is all I have to offer here,

    Dave.

Not to get too technical but it doesn't appear that she was refused service but was simply asked to leave. It is not clear what the owner would have done had she refused to leave. I'd rather not serve you is different from I won't serve you.

From Julia Ariciga, at The Daily Beast:

"After White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was kicked out of a Virginia restaurant this weekend, Trump supporters have been wrongly targeting and harassing unrelated but similarly named eateries around the country.

On Friday evening, the owner of the Red Hen in Lexington, Virginia, asked Sanders to leave the restaurant after consulting with staff who felt uncomfortable with the chief White House spokeswoman’s presence. As a result, both Sanders and President Trump took to Twitter to directly shame the restaurant and ultimately stir up an outrage movement against it.

As a result, similarly named but completely unaffiliated Red Hen restaurants in Washington, D.C., Connecticut, and New Jersey have reportedly been the targets of harassment, death threats, and even some physical violence.

The Red Hen in Old Saybrook, Connecticut, “received threatening messages on its voicemail and on its Facebook page,” soon after the Sanders incident, WTNH reported. The restaurant reportedly changed its voicemail to explain that they were “not affiliated with any other Red Hen restaurant,” and, in response to hundreds of angry comments, posted to Facebook multiple notes declaring, “We have absolutely no affiliation with any other Red Hen Restaurant anywhere else.”

Additionally, a Red Hen restaurant in Swedesboro, New Jersey has also been targeted for harassment by phone, social media, and a flood of negative Yelp reviews. *The restaurant wrote, in all caps, that their restaurant was “IS IN NO WAY AFFILIATED WITH THE RED HEN IN VIRGINIA” on their Facebook page, and claimed they received about 600 phone calls related to the incident.

“I was answering the phone every five minutes to swearing, cursing, vile things—people wishing our business would go under,” restaurant host Tommy Smith told The Philadelphia Inquirer. “Their anger was really overpowering. It really stinks.”

People must realise there are consequences to virtue signalling....you can't choose who you signal to or know what their virtues are.

Negative. If you look at your passport, check your "place of birth" and some guy comes along and say's "that's a fake" you would be quite within your right to tell this guy to go and f**k himself.

                Ha, not a chance.
Envy is for little people, Obama served his two terms.
Why do you think Trump is obsessed with challenging Obama's record?, he is jealous (envious) of the respect Obama has, not only in America, but worldwide.
Trump is a little coward trying his best to look tough.

Now his tariffs are backfiring - Harley-Davidson moving some manufacturing jobs overseas. Trump is putting Americans out of work because he hasn't a clue what he's doing.
                Regards, Jon S.

You seem to be suggesting Trump wants to do a better job than the person that came before him? The man is a monster! Thanks for opening my eyes!

At the end of the day, being president is like being King for a day, and who but a fool would do that?

And if Harley move their jobs out of Kansas city to Thailand as they planned at the start of the year (before any tariffs were announced) then I'm sure the glorious capitalist system will judge them.

Trump is now quoting union activists? Good one. The claim that Harley Davidson was planning to move to Thailand back in January was made by union activists and was denied at the time by the company's CEO. But it's nice to know that Trump is suddenly a friend of the working stiff. The truth of the matter is that sales of Harleys have been down in the U.S. but increasing in Europe and Asia. With the tariffs, Harley decided it was time to move some of its operation overseas. Meanwhile, those farmers that were supposedly itching for tariffs are now in a full panic. Republican congressmen from Iowa just sent a letter of concern to Trump, fearing a trade war with China will cripple their state. China just dropped soybean tariffs on 5 Asian countries and ordered its farmers to increase their crop size; they are obviously preparing to retaliate against the soybean farmers in Indiana and Illinois. Next up we have the EU whose recent maneuvers are designed to punish the Dairy farmers in Wisconsin and the orange juice producers in Florida. There is no way in Hades that a trade war will help Trump's base, but I'm sure the guy that managed to bankrupt a casino has all the economic answers.

Trump is trolling Harley-Davidson by tweet as we speak.

What is happening now I'd wager is HD is getting quite a lot of correspondence from their customers telling them they are going to stop buying their motorcycles.

While people who are fans of denying service to a woman because of her thought crimes may be able to keep a eating house afloat for a couple of years, they are not going to go and buy Harley-Davidsons because they have moved abroad.

Trump is going to win this one....HD aint going anywhere.

And don't worry about the EU, that's going down quicker than a one-legged man doing the hokey-cokey.

Aye, comrade Dave. I give it three days until Hannity viewers send in their videos of smashing up their Harleys

In my more cynical moments, I tend to wonder whether Trump isn't paying people like this restaurant owner to make his opponents look like childish prats.
