Default Youtube Special

I know we already have a page devoted to Youtube and JTR, but I think this individual deserves a thread of his own, as his output far exceeds any other JTR related poster on the video sharing website.

Each of the video's shos scenes asociated with the crimes, from murder scenes, to the victims graves, and several notable locations.

The video's also have a commentary, allowing the viewer to take a step back in time.

Nice work posting these, Mike. Thank you.

Excellent work on behalf of The Guildford Ghost. It's a treat for those of us who can't see these places in person. Thank you.

Hello Mike!

Interesting youtube -tour indeed, thank you!

The siren on the CE clip gave the right kind of atmosphere...

And the noise in the beginning of Annie Chapman clip gave me the creeps!

How much London has changed from those days!

I have a faint memory, that while visiting Whitechapel - among other locations in London - in April 2007 I might have seen some or the sights on the clips!

Well, thank you a lot anyway!

All the best
Jukka

Impossible. He's not impersonated on RIPPERLAND. Even if he IS seen.

Hi Philip,

I would just like to say a huge "Thank You" to you on this thread.

...you are a hero.

There are a lot of us who cannot get to Whitechapel,or simply for one reason or another haven't been over yet,and your's are the best links on the net to click onto.

Tons of thanks for giving your time for others.

I've spent the past few days watching and rewatching these.
Despite the changes over the past 121 years, it's still a pleasure that sends a tingle down the spine, to see the places where these events actually happened.
A big thank you from down under Phillip!

The St Georges in the East footage is great.

Ever since the photos first appeared a couple of years ago, I fell in love with that building. I'm glad it's going to be preserved, even though I still wish it was going to be as a Ripper museum...
