I do have a question. It seems this article is suggesting Scotland Yard did not have enough evidence on the man, so they just told him never to return. Have there been any later interviews with Scotland Yard official corroborating this? Thanks.

Umm, 'scuse me butting in here, but I think I am correct in saying that a fellow named Dr. Dennis Gratwick theorised that Jack was a North Sea Fisherman...unidentified.
