Well if it was a commercial flight there is always the chance that he could be bumped from the flight or miss a connecting flight.

So one of these nights and about twelve o'clock,
This old world's goin' ta reel and rock.
Saints will tremble and cry for pain,
For the Lord's gonna come in his heavenly airplane.

Look.. I don't blame this guy...it worked once before.. why not try again.. if the "faithful" are that stupid...so be it...if they send him money for his toys, so what...I hate everything about people like him, but who am I to judge, if his followers want him to have a airplane then whatever, isn't religion wonderful.

"Up, up, up through the air...
Looping the loop with exceptional flair..."

Perhaps like George Guneymer of World War I fame, the plane will go into the clouds ever higher, and never be seen again!

They were simpler in the Old Testament. Elijah went to meet his maker in a chariot of fire.

They had very dodgy engines in those days.

Perhaps he needs the plane so that he can slip the surly bonds of earth and touch the face of God.

But then, Moses came down the mountain in his Triumph.

By Solomon's time they were packing passengers into the planes like sardines, in smaller and smaller seats. Hence the baby business.

I'm surprised he didn't come down in his Morgan!

Frank Zappa really tore into these guys: check out "Broadway The Hard Way" (cd version) and his "Norwegian Wood trilogy".

At least Janis Joplin only asked the Lord for a Mercedes Benz, and that was her friends all drove Porsches.

I like Steppenwolf’s attitude to it all.
They’re not fussed what people are driving as long as they get their motor running.
