  • "The Strange Case of Dr. Doyle"

Came across this title on Amazon while doing some librarian work yesterday:

The Strange Case of Doctor Doyle: A Journey into Madness & Mayhem, by
Daniel Friedman, MD and Eugene Friedman, MD.

Sounds very interesting. Has anyone read it?

My local library has it, but I haven't read it. According to the description, in 1905 a group of crime enthusiasts including ACD went on a Ripper tour. From that, the authors come up with ACD conducting a Ripper tour himself.

I read a little of it. You can download a preview version on Itunes, I think. It's totally written as fiction.

Thanks for the information, everyone. Think I'll investigate it, due to my interest in Doyle and Sherlock Holmes.

I believe I rad it years ago, if not something similar.

There are two ways to be fooled, one is to believe what isn't true, the other is to refuse to believe that which is true.
