  • Found 120 Years To The Day After Her Murder: Frances Coles Article

This article is from the 1891 'Journal of Jurisprudence' and announces a murder in East London on the night of February 12, 1891.

It's a very brief article, but I found it interesting in several respects:
1.) The writers of this article state that they incline towards the view that the Whitechapel Murders had multiple "perpetrators".
2.) They count the murder of Frances Coles as the 10th Whitechapel Murder.
3.) They take an extremely sarcastic and mocking tone towards Dr. Forbes Winslow: "Has he decided not to catch the perpetrator...?"

Lastly, and what made by far the greatest impression on me, is that I came across this article late last night, which was February 13, 2011...

120 years to the day after Frances Coles was cruelly murdered.

    Best regards,
