  • 1896: 'Relation Between Dissecting Rooms & Homicide' (Ripper/Holmes)

This article from the 1896 Cincinnati Medical Journal discusses the possibility that doctors might be in special danger of
developing a gruesome prediliction for murder based upon their medical school education, experiences, and pranks in the dissection room.

The article specifically mentions Jack the Ripper and H.H. Holmes.

There are a few more pages discussing particular examples of killer medical men, none of whom seem to be very well-known today. If anybody is interested in reading them, please let me know & I will post them for you.

    Best regards, Archaic
