Yup!

Saw him live recently the Bush. Pete Green has the edge though. Not so over-produced as Gary Moore. Green's a bit more bluesy - a bit rough around the edges.

I rate Cat Stevens as among the greatest songwriters England has ever produced.

Tea For The Tillerman/Teaser And The Firecat/Catch Bull At Four

3 fantastics records and not 1 dud track.

Someone mentioned Crosby, Stills and Nash's debut. I wholeheartedly agree. The harmonies are fantastic. Wooden Ships is one of my all time favourite tracks. Their later CSN (1977?) is well worth a listen.

If anyone likes a country tinge to their rock and roll try:
The Ozark Mountain Daredevils' quilted cover album. Road To Glory is just plain magnificient.

I like Cat Stevens, but I think the truth about him as a rock performer is summed up by one of his own comments, when he said that he was baffled by the fact that the audiences would dance to the other acts, but as soon as he came on they'd sit quietly down in front of him and listen.
