    Hello Investigator. Thanks.

Don't think gate crashing was necessary. The club encouraged attendance.

I'd like to focus on the chap in the shadows.

    1. What was he doing there? Awaiting a victim?

    2. Why did Eygle not see him?

    3. Why did Lave not see him?

    4. When Liz's companion fled, why did she not grasp the danger and flee as well?

    And now:

"Because it was dark he guided her towards the back door of the club following behind with his left hand resting on her shoulder.
Once past the open gate into the alley he cut her throat."

    Very well.

    1. He must have walked next the building with Liz to his left.

    2. Her feet would need to be pointed in the opposite direction.

    Cheers.

      Hello CD.

"To me, the obvious answer is that she took them out after the B.S. man had left and she felt at ease. Just my take on it."

No, NOT just your take. To use your and Caroline's epithet, "It's bleedin' obvious." All it takes is reconstructing the scene mentally.

Mantle, although a bit old and mouldy, still available.

      Cheers.

        Hello Jon.

"Two candidates for this 'someone else', must be Pipeman and Parcel man."

        Plus others?

        Cheers.

          Hello DLDW.

"Or maybe Knifeman chases IS off and then returns to chase BSM off then kills Stride."

Whilst Liz calmly watches them disappear, one at a time?

          Compare these two propositions:

          1. "I saw a man standing lighting his pipe."

          2. "I saw a man standing lighting his knife."

          Cheers.

It is possible Lynn...but that's all

Insufficient hard evidence one way or the other...you and c.d. tend to jump one way, Abby and I tend to jump the other...end of...we don't know.

I thought Dig made an interesting contribution re Pipeman...if he was dagger man that is...

I'm a little bemused at the thought of using the Arbeiter Fraint report as timing evidence though...If Stewart had kittens with me looking at the Star report for clarification, what would he make of THAT one?

            All the best

              Hello Abby.

"However. She was found brutally murdered with the cachous STILL in her hand.
So whether attacked once or twice they were still in her hand. See what I mean?"

Precisely. Now, try going through the various scenarios suggested and see which of them works.

              Don't forget:

              1. cachous unspilled

              2. dress unrumpled

              3. mud/wetness left side only

              Cheers.

Hello Jon. Yet lamb claimed the Jewish chaps met him slightly before 1.00?

                Cheers.

                  Cute...

The Hungarian states positively that he saw a knife in this second man's hand, but he waited to see no more. He fled incontinently, to his new lodgings

                    Hello Dave.

"The presence of Fixed Point Constable 426H does seem to prove that the club members met them after the 1.00am deadline, walking back along the road towards Berner Street, for otherwise, murder or not, PC426H would not have been free to leave his fixed point."

Provided, of course, he stayed the full time.

Now, about the obligatory lecture on LVP time keeping. (heh-heh)

                    Cheers.

Lots of differences in the Press Reports Lynn...but if PC426H is with him it's a bit of a clincher...oh those missing police reports!

                          Hello (again) Dave. Thanks.

Regarding the cahous, the best way to establish the point is to give it a go.

"If Stewart had kittens with me looking at the Star report for clarification, what would he make of THAT one?"

Well, it DID happen at their side door.

I daresay I'd flee too--in double quick time. Who wishes to be attacked by a man with a flaming knife? (heh-heh)

                            Cheers.

Well, it DID happen at their side door.
But I'd hardly regard the comments on the police in an Anarchical/Socialist magazine as unbiased reporting...The Star and other radical papers could be bad enough but...

Then you are honest. The usual tack is to use this ONLY as needed. (See manufacturer's directions.)
