Scarlett probably produced the documentary. He/she must have some investment in this mess to be acting the fool like this.

Just watched it and enjoyed it.

Doesnt mean I agree with its findings.

It was great to see John on it, and at the spot were the 1st London job was held. If I remember right, John, Phil and Rob were on a quest to locate the mortuary then. It was an honour watching these guys work, albeit in the rain.

Did you point out the 'MK' John?

So does John Bennett endorse Robert Mann as a viable suspect?

I quite liked this one! Especially the "Goads with Master Bennett" section!

The views from Denning Point were also interesting. Would have liked to get up there a while back...

As Television, it was quite engaging & decently made.
              As Ripperology/History...,well,..... Next, please!

Here's a photo I took from the roof of Denning Point during filming. Mei can be clearly seen - Alex (the production coordinator) is probably hiding behind the wall.

Been there a couple of times. Recommended. I reckon there are people easier to throw off rooftops than you, mate.

Yes, lifting heavy Goad volumes does that to you

Addition: Thanks for the pics, John!

In late 1888 Jack the Ripper launched his infamous reign of terror on the streets of London’s East End, murdering at least five women and leaving their corpses hideously mutilated. To this day the case remains one of history’s greatest mysteries: a seemingly motiveless crime, unmatched in brutality, with a gallery of suspects, including a member of the British royal family.

Now historian Mei Trow is poised to rock the world of Ripperology with a powerful new theory about the killer’s identity - the result of two years of exhaustive research. Pairing the hi-tech investigative techniques of his predecessors with good old-fashioned detective work on the ground, Trow returns to the streets of Whitechapel to track down clues vital to his theory, delving deep into Victorian public records and narrowing down the area where his suspect lived, worked and stalked his prey.

I watched this and found it quite interesting, although fell asleep before the end so I don't know if I missed anything spectacular. Wasn't really convinced that the Ripper had indeed been revealed, though.
