  • 1st JTR Victim Photographs Encore??

    Hi to all,

Does anyone know if there is any truth to the notion the Robert is releasing a second edition of his masterful book? It seems I heard talk of this on a podcast, but when I attempted to locate the place where I heard mention of it, I could not. Thanks for any clarification.

    Hi Chris,

I had a private conversation with Rob only the other week and I'm sure he won't mind me confirming that it is indeed his intention to do a second edition.

However there are a few snags which are holding things up for him. I won't go into details but you can rest assured that he is working on them.

    Cheers

I hope Robert doesn't produce another edition. As I figure it, my two copies of his first edition are worth, approximately, a gazillion dollars.

And it still will be. But as it must rank as one of the most overlooked highly respected top-notch and innovative Ripper books of all time, it deserves a second airing.

Donald Rumbelow refers to photos he saw back in the 60s of Millers Court. Does anyone know which photos he refers to or are these missing now ?

                    Hi Jason,

Donald Rumbelow (much to his credit) saved the classic image of Mary Kelly that we refer to as MJK1. That is certainly still in existence and used in virtually every book on the subject. Robert's book may have more info on other images that Rumbelow saved, but I hesitate to touch one of my copies to find out because they're so valuable.
