Trevor has spoken to Phil who is in great spirits. The clot seems to have discharged himself - I mean, the blood clot seems to have dispersed itself. Phil is being kept in for tests.

        Phil,

If you need some place to recover, I have room in Kazakhstan. I can't be sure that more clots wouldn't develop here, but so far so good.

                      Dear all,

Thank you all so much for the kind wishes.
After three spinal taps and many tests, the blood clot scenario is still relevant, but the doctors also talked of a possible leaking aneurism which although unlikely from the CT-scans developed, remained a possibility due to a trace of blood in the spinal fluid.

However, this could have been down to from when the needle went in my back from the third spinal tap. I had to wait until Monday when it will was determined through more tests if this is the case or not. I can report today that thankfully, that the blood traces likely came from the needle itself.

I am under observation and movement is restricted. Stimuli such as pc/tv is restricted to an absolute minimum atm. So use here is very restricted and I am borrowing a pc to do this. Quiet rest is the order of the day.Prognosis is good and time is a factor.

All of your kind messages mean very much indeed to me. Thank you.

Good to see you at the keyboard again, however briefly.

                          Sounds like good news too.
