          • can anyone help me out?

what is the trick for pasting the actual photo into the message, rather than just a link?

            • Hi Harry

Click on the Go Advanced button, there you will see the paperclip icon, click on this and a window will open up which allows you to browse your own hard drive. All that emains now is for you to select the images you wish to upload, and then click on upload. Take note of the maximum file sizes you are allowed for each file format.

                    • Pedley Street Arches

I was suprised to see in the London JOb 2011 book a shot of the authors in the tunnel this year. I am from the USA, and far back as 2009 when I got the E1 book by Bennett, I thought it was closed off and no longer accesible. What is going on with it currently?

According to the walk I was following (can't remember the name of the book it was taken from, nor the author I'm afraid, I'm sure he posts here though), the original swallow gardens is one of the now closed-off archways on the right at the end of the railway bridge shown in the photo. Actually, all the shutters across the arches were open, and we peered into them all. They were mostly full of cars, tools, and the like.
We were also able to access the former Dorset Street, where the shop/warehouse shutters were also open, so we got a glimpse of two of the sites that are normally out of sight.
                        Hope this helps! Cheers, H.

                        • I was referring to the Pedley Street arches, not the Swallow gardens ones, thanks anyways.

                              • I took these photos about a month back... The first two are of Christ Church Parish Hall on Hanbury Street (I think). Then I few I took on Toynbee Street of my favorite abandoned building in the area. (Anyone know what is the deal with this abandoned building? I have a vision of artist lofts... And who is Daniel Stone?) And finally one of what I think is a section of Castle Alley... is that correct?
