    Yes, he's still around and doing his stuff, although not always music-related. Who would have thought 42 years ago that he is now elevated to the status of national treasure (least in the non-establishment, alternative scene).

    Last year, he judged a post-card design competition in the UK, which sounds pretty mundane but Fatima Manji of Channel 4 had a 20 minute chat with him about Postcards, the Queen, Politicians and Art and she was very good in just letting him talk. This is an excellent interview about Britain in 2017 from the point of view of a grumpy middle-aged punk rocker. And he's ripping just about everyone

    Phew, I saw this and thought he was dead.
    Met him a few times at gigs and he`s a nice guy, surprisingly. He just drops into Johnny Rotten mode when journos are about.
    He does like his art, (he`s designs most of the artwork for PIL)
    John is marmite.
