Technically, it is the adaptation of the novel by Margaret Atwood, about a servant girl in Canada named Grace Marks, who in 1843 was accused and convicted of murdering her employer, and suspected of murdering his housekeeper.
I'd never heard of the case before. Thought some might be interested in it for the insight to Victorian attitudes to serving women.
