From Voltaire writing in Diderot's Encyclopédie:
"One demands of modern historians more details, better ascertained facts, precise dates, , more attention to customs, laws, commerce, agriculture, population."

There are two ways to be fooled, one is to believe what isn't true, the other is to refuse to believe that which is true.

                Hi GUT,

As you know, very little has changed. We are still being besieged by the new "independent genius" who is insisting he has the solution, although it turned out that a set of people have another independent solution (though the independent genius just shrugs off). Nothing really changed.

Glad you had a good vacation.

                Jeff

                  G'day Jeff

                  Certainly looking that way.

Oh BTW I know who Jack was, but just need a tad more data before I can say,

That's all right GUT. I can think of at least five women who knew who Jack was briefly, and to their cost. And no "independent genius" to help them know it!!

You bet, just wish it could have gone on.

Tough having to cook clean, make the bed get my own drink not to mention go to work.

No flights cruised Sydney to Sydney a couple of hours up the freeway, home.

SHE isn't allowed fly, doctors prohibit it, say it could kill her even so we cruise out of Sydney.
