Here's part of the Rotherhithe Tunnel plans I managed to copy. I would like to get a trip down the sub tunnel under the roadway if possible.
It's the plan for the scaffolding used by the wall tilers. Seems old barrels were standing idle and were put to use.

I saw a recent article where someone took one of those underground biffies and remodeled it into a delightful flat.

I wonder if it had any sitting tenants.

Hey, if you have a cool 850,000 quid burning a hole in your pocket, the loo on Commercial Road is up for sale!

A once attractive-looking public urinal from the 1880s has just been listed in Bristol: http://www.thehistoryblog.com/archives/33924 Be sure to click on the little pictures to see the details. One hopes it will be fixed up some, as it must once have been something to see.

The accompanying article has some interesting reflections on the Victorian interest in public restrooms as well.

                  Hi Ginger

If my recollection's correct, I think it's about the second or third they've slapped an order on

                  Cheers
