There might be a cheaper alternative. Many (many, many) years ago my father used to talk about making pumpkin 'rum', more like a wine. The process involved scooping out a pumpkin, filling it with brown sugar and hanging it over a bucket. Never tried it to see how it works.

Are you sure that there’s not some outhouse somewhere belonging to your dad that’s full of gallons of the stuff Tel?

Interesting, Herlock. It just goes to show that some people will spend their money on ANYTHING (and better this than Drugs!). But I prefer this sort of use for Garbage than just abandoning it and the crap becoming a hazard to Wildlife.
