A perfect description.

I’ve never understood the appeal. They just seem so average and dull. I don’t mind a bit of rock and roll excess (my favourite band Led Zeppelin, with The Who, virtually invented it) but Liam just comes across as a deeply unpleasant, unlikeable person. And that silly, exaggerated walk. There’s no getting away from the fact that they’re staggeringly popular though. People will sell their offspring for tickets. Give me Van Der Graaf Generator any day.

Absolutely, I think I said somewhere if they played at my funeral I'd still get up and walk out. Talentless arrogant horrible Mancs... grrrr

This one will be controversial especially today…..Oasis!

I loathe and detest them. The most overrated band in the history of music imo. Someone just described Liam Gallagher on tv as a great frontman and singer. The guy stands there like someone waiting for a bus with his hands behind his back wearing a Mac singing in his annoying whiney voice. He sounds like a fan singing a football song. God I hate Oasis so much.

Another irritation, people being intentionally stupid.
In this case, enforcing a rule that was made with a different intent in mind.

An example is, lining up in a grocery store. three self check-out machines and a sign that says 'No Carts'.
There's four regular check-outs open, and 6 or 7 people in each line.
So, I have a loaf of bread, a carton of eggs, and a carton of milk. My wife is pushing a cart with a case of 24 bottled water.
It's in the cart because it is too heavy to carry around the store.
So, we do not have a shopping cart full of groceries, which is what the sign refers to, which would slow down the fast self checkout.
We have four items, that's all.

So this assistant walks up to me telling me "no carts", which sparked off a ludicrous exchange. The aisle was wide enough for a cart, so she had no cause to stop me passing through. I said "you carry that case of water then!, it's too heavy for us".
All she could say was "no carts", "no carts".

Others may disagree, but in my view she was being intentionally stupid, it's obvious we did not have a cart full of shopping.
Maybe it's just me, but I expect staff to show a bit of gumption, if they see a pensioner struggling with a case of water, recognise the situation for what it is, or assist them in some other way.

Sounds like a jobsworth with no concept of common sense Wick. What if you had your arm in a sling and so took a cart for those 4 items? Or what if you were disabled? Or 85?

Visitors to The Smithsonian Natural History Museum in Washington, D.C. who return home and fire off angry letters to the editor complaining that the Smithsonian is attempting to push the false religion of evolution upon their children and anyone else foolish enough to be taken in by their propaganda.

I don't know if you watched Game of Thrones.
While the whole "Sansa Stark deals a bitter revenge on Ramsay Bolton" situation may be extreme, I probably wouldn't be entirely against the idea of visiting the notion in dealing with owners of dangerous dogs who don't look after them.
