Help please? Mac's Memo + Druitt + Freemasons

Hello fellow pub goers,

I read somewhere that someone suggested the Freemasons persuaded Sir Melville Macnaghten to place Druitt on his little list of suspects, but I unfortunately forgot to note who and where I read this. On casebook maybe???

I don't suppose anyone can name the independent genius who suggested this?
