On reading some of the other posts, I kinda wish I'd picked something a bit more imaginative.

Yeah, Anonymous Bosch is an absolute belter!!

    Mr Normal, you’ve escaped.

Good to see you back Abby

Young Frankenstein was great. I can never hear “Puttin’ On The Ritz” without thinking of it.

Does anyone want to enlighten me/us without giving anything away that you don’t want to of course?

Cheers Azarna, I always thought that your name sounded like one from a fantasy novel

Azarna is something I came up with when trying to find an unused name for an account in World of Warcraft, rather a long time ago now.

I have no idea why this name, it just sort of came out of my head and sounded like a good name for a warlock!

I later had a warlock called Bramah, which is far wittier.

And since then I have sometimes used it for online accounts as it is usually available.

I also sometimes use my middle name for online accounts, as I think I may be the only living person to have it, so it is good for this - although totally transparent that it is me, of course.

If I ever get my JTR book finished, I may regret not using my real name here for all this time, heh.

When I first learned of the name you use on JTRForums, I had thought it was a reference to Mary Poppins and wondered if that was a childhood favourite. I expect you get that alot, sorry.
    Hello Eten

It wasn’t a favourite of mine and to be honest it’s only been mentioned a couple of times. I did go to school with a girl called Julie Andrew’s though but I can’t recall if she could sing?

“Gordon” was also my father’s middle name. He in turn was named after General Gordon.

Mind you, I have had other names on other boards. (I’ve been called other names on other boards too--but that’s the Internet for you!) On one board I re-registered as “Kilroy”--because “I was here” before most of the other posters were.

I’ve also been “Anonymous Bosch,” which caused a mixture of hilarity and horror (from one neurotic lady). I was interested recently to see someone else posting on YouTube under the same name. Well, “great minds think alike.”

I was also amused when I posted on a board as “Heath Robinson,” and at least one poster thought it was my real name! I guess some people need educating. Since most posters there were from the USA, maybe I should have called myself “Rube Goldberg” instead.

I remember Septic Blue, good poster, he/she would post those map overlays, very useful. Happy days

Mine is the name on my birth certificate, although Drew Gray cited it as an example of the strange habit Ripperologists have of adopting the names of characters involved in the case.
