Mine comes from Young Frankenstein and was the name of my band back in the day, and since i came up with the name, it subsequently became one of my nick names in certain circles.Originally posted by Herlock Sholmes View PostI’ve often wondered where some posters names come from? Some are obvious - my own, Wickerman, Dupin, Fisherman for example but some aren’t.

Good to see you back Abby
Young Frankenstein was great. I can never hear “Puttin’ On The Ritz” without thinking of it.

Mine is pretty self explanatory and mundane!
As an animal lover I always tend to pick up on any feline or canine reference.
It also gave me the opportunity to use a pic of my beautiful and beloved cat in my profile picture.
On reading some of the other posts, I kinda wish I'd picked something a bit more imaginative.
Yeah, Anonymous Bosch is an absolute belter!!

When trying to finish a particularly tricky psychology essay back in my student days, I was doodling rather absent mindlessly on a note pad and for for some unknown reason I wrote Losmandris?, I have absolutely no idea why but rather like the word, so for he past 20 odd years have adopted it as an online alias.

It’s as good a reason as any Tristan. Maybe you were called Losmandris in a previous life.Originally posted by Losmandris View PostWhen trying to finish a particularly tricky psychology essay back in my student days, I was doodling rather absent mindlessly on a note pad and for for some unknown reason I wrote Losmandris?, I have absolutely no idea why but rather like the word, so for he past 20 odd years have adopted it as an online alias.

Nice. My wife is called Frances. I decided this is too complicated for me, so I always called her Frankie. She was studying Neurology and one day came home with soiled shoes from dissecting a human body in class. Since then, I refer to her as "Dr. Frankiestein" from time to time. Seems to have caught on with my daughter tooOriginally posted by Abby Normal View Post
