And here is what he said in 2005 (my word-by-word and laboured translation):
"What I observe, it's the current ravages : extinction of living species, plant or animal ; and that by the very fact of its current density, human race lives under a regime of "internal poisoning", if I can say so. I ponder the present and the world in which I'm ending my days. It is not a world I like."
And lastly : "I can't have much hope for a too-full world."
But they say we should sell more cars and have more children, don't they ?
