I can't help but feel somewhat responsible for all this since I was the one that started the thread. I swear to you that I never expected that a discussion on France banning ketchup would get so heated. My money was on the U.K. porn star thread.

I guess the moral of the story is that we should be glad we live in free countries where one is entitled to speak his or her mind and others, if they are so inclined, are entitled to tell the speaker to go pack sand up their ass. That is as it should be.

Errata, I thought your apology showed a lot of class. We would all do well to lighten up a little bit sometimes. Stay well.

Thank you Robert. I have worked hard for a very long time for my illness to not be a factor, and despite the fact that this time it was Encephalitis (which I can assure you is even less pleasant in the short term) the fact that all my years of training to notice these very changes just took a vacation is not okay. I appreciate your generosity.

Unfortunately my nastiness and hysteria was a symptom of encephalitis, which went undiagnosed until I collapsed not too long after my last post on the topic. I in fact just got out of the hospital a few hours ago (on the off chance anyone wondered where I disappeared to). However, I have never hidden the fact that I am Bipolar, and I am supposed to be able to spot changes in personality or shifts in emotion in order to control them. So despite the fact that there is a reason I was so poorly behaved, there is no excuse for it. I of all people should have picked up on the fact that I was overly emotional, and I didn't. And again, there is no excuse for that.

I hope that I can still stand behind the core of my opinion while seriously regretting my presentation and attitude.

So Robert and Ally, again I apologize. I had no right to blow up on you at all, and certainly not for expressing an opinion. We have disagreed in the past, and probably will in the future, but I have always looked on both of you with respect for your passion and articulation. I hope that you can accept my sincere regrets for what can only be described as my piss-poor behavior.
