How on earth is "You're gonna need a bigger boat" so low down at number 35?

Should be top ten at least.

I see that "hey kid, go fvck a duck" from Thunderbolt and Lightfoot isn't on the list.

    Hi Zodiac

I meant my ones might not be verbatim.

Yes, those ones you posted were good.

I remember "Well Henry, what do you know?" from Eraserhead. The quote is actually the long, long silence that follows this question!

Intent? And just how did you establish intent?

Excuse me please, my ear is full of milk
We'll take the high road - and let him take the low road
If we put our heads together, we'd be twice as dumb as we are now
You can lead a horse to water, but a pencil must be lead
plus all the catchphrases like "Do something to help me," "I have nothing to say" etc.
    Thanks Rob,

You're right, probably not verbatim, its been nearly 20 years already!!! but it still makes me smile. Here are a couple of other classic quotes from US films that I really like.

    Best wishes

    Hi Robert,

I can't remember which L&H film it was, I only saw it the once and that was like the best part of 20 years ago!!! In the film L&H are out of work, the depression era I guess. Destitute, they finally hear about some people who are looking for someone to do a "Job" for them, good money too. Of course it transpires that these people are the "Mob" and the "job" is a "hit"!!!

When L&H apply for said job, the stereotypical "dees, does, dem, look mack, don't push it wiseguy" type mob boss says to them, "but this is a job for one man!" To which our heroes reply "Thats ok, together we can do the work of one man!!!" At Uni that became the motto of my best friend an myself!!!

    Best wishes,

    Zodiac.

I can think of two or three that should be in there :

"We belong dead." (Bride Of Frankenstein)
"He's in the car." (The Untouchables)
"Coat gone but pocket still there?" (Murder By Death)
"Because a chap becomes a ghost, shouldn't mean that he ceases to be a gentleman." (Dead Of Night)
"I'm A Composite Too." (Scream And Scream Again)
"A plant like that could take over the world." (Dr Terror's House Of Horrors)
and just about any line from Laurel and Hardy.
