That certainly beats watching a bad talkie film and listening to John Cage's 4'33"

Should have posted this three nights ago when Adele performed at the Grammys for the first time after her throat surgery, but the voice is back, unchanged and strong as ever. Loved it! Love also the contrast between how delightfully unrefined and trash-talking she is (which shows in her acceptance speeches for the awards she won) and the regal music goddess that she projects in her performance. I hope she is a strong presence in the music world for many years to come.

Good stuff Magpie! Must admit female fronted metal/rock is something of a favourite of mine.

Thanks brummie--I like! I'll have to see if I can track down some of their non-acoustic stuff to play on the show.

Here's my current favourite: Alpine Fault, from NZ

This is a magnificent track from The Hollies. I saw them live over 30 years ago and they were superb performers.

My daughter is taking me to Birmingham on March 8 to see them live again in their 50th anniversary year.

This Mozart concerto is said to have been composed for a blind pianist. Could be - 1.10 sounds dangerously close to "Two Lovely Black Eyes."
