Let's hear it for Hagar!!
Suzi and Stephen.....doncha LOVE Hagar?? And his observations on manufacturing cuteness make perfect sense...to me, at least!! You also have to give Mr Brown HUGE credit for recognising that we haven't come as far as some would like to think. Personally, I think we're barely out of the caves, but carrying cell phones and posting on message boards, but that's just me......
The "something tight" observation still is the best choice for the Under Ancient Crowd, right?? SEE? Hagar is as modern as a Blackberry!
AND as to the pyramid I built on my poor mistreated cat's head....Tank has been known to place his ears in the Yoda position...that's Yoda, NOT Yoga.....to indicate his displeasure. You don't have to be psychic to get the message; meanwhile he purrs away, manufacturing cuteness at a mile a minute.
DON'T YOU JUST LOVE USELESS THREADS??? Now, here's Gracie.....one half of the George and Gracie team we also support in the manner to which they have become accustomed. She really likes the warm computer top, and that's why the damned thing runs all day.
Cheers to all and have a wonderful remains of the weekend.
Judy

Garfield is now an annoying CGI cat, voiced by Bill Murry, who will only sign onto Ghostbusters 3 to provide his voice!!
Garfield has had two movies out, both were awful, but the first did star Jenniffer Love Hewitt, so it did have some redeeming features.

Garfield had become incredibly rubbish. Hadn't been funny for a long time. Hopefully he's stopped drawing it now.
Gary Larson had the right idea. Quit while you're ahead.

Yes! Ear=Pyramid!
And the best comic strip ever is Fred Bassett, because it's been going for about 400 years and nothing has ever happened in it.
Absolute genius.

We've got HAGAR here in Britain too and it's the most consistently funny cartoon strip I ever saw. I like the way you get prehistoric monsters in Viking times. A couple of days ago there was Hagar's daughter telling her friend that she was going on a date with the son of the King of Norway and asking what she should wear. The friend says 'Something very tight'.

And there was me thinking this was a rather witty observation about Tank the cat's right ear (in the photo immediately preceding the above quote - see post #85).
Looks to me much more like a pyramid than the 'Christmas bow thingy' in post #79.
Love,
Caz

Thanks for that, Suzi.....
Glad you cleared up the pyramid thingie, Suzi..i couldn't find a pyramid on the cat's head, anywhere...more the fool, me! He really did wear that damn bow all day as we delivered holiday candy to friends. I think he did it just to get treats, as he's a real beggar, but maybe not.......maybe he did it to be cute! There's a comic strip in the States called HAGAR THE HORRIBLE and when this particular one came out, I cut it from the newspaper and laminated the thing just for a post like this!! Now is this true, or is this true??
Now I'm off to see the Wizard......
Cheers,
Judy

Hi. Snow? In 40C temps? It's been a glorious Feb. With the drought to end all droughts but we've had a little bit of rain. Up north the monsoons have dropped more than a torrent but here nothing. Do you know that it's illegal here to use a garden hose? That's how little water we have.
Anyway Jack Russell terrorist says hi.
Cheers
