If I ran a restaurant the menu would read :

    Starters - breakfast fry-up
    Dinner - bangers and mash
Dessert - knickerbocker glory and a nice pot of tea

Special helpings of jellied eels for Americans
Mega helping of black pudding for Ally

    Poor, poor stuff.

The hatred of these progressives should show all Liberals they are not political allies.

    The Hypocrisy is astounding.

I'd have done exactly the same thing if someone had walked into my restaurant and asked for a cheeseboard as a starter.

I'm kinda undecided on this but I would say that its not good when the mood of the country results in people being asked to leave from restaurants.

    Hi CD

Well, it might be just her personal feelings, or maybe she's worried about keeping her staff, or perhaps she's calculated that she'll get more anti-Trump customers than she'll lose pro-Trump customers - or maybe some combination of the three. According to the article, she didn't fly into hysterics - it was all done very politely.

    Hello Robert,

I agree. It is her restaurant and she can do what she wants. There are no legal issues involved such as discrimination (she wasn't refused service and was asked to leave) but I still think the owner went off the deep end and acted like a horse's behind.

Well, it's her restaurant, so she can do what she likes - assuming that there's no ridiculous law against 'political discrimination' over there.

What's depressing is that a supposedly respectable newspaper would use the infantile phrase 'call out.'

I'm certainly not a big fan of Trump or his press secretary but in my opinion the actions of the restaurant owner were just tacky and no class. EVERYBODY needs to lighten up.
