Interesting but no reactions to the death of Anthony Armstrong Jones earlier this past week. Lord Snowden's death ends one of those so-called "fairy tale" royal marriages that are puffed about when they occur, but end up falling apart. Princess Margaret had a serious romance years earlier with a married war hero, and her sister and the Prime Minister (I believe it was Churchill) put an end to it. Snowden sort of covered it over for awhile. He even had two royal children with her, though they are way down on the lines of inheritance towards the throne. However, unlike many of the spouses of members of the royal family, the Earl actually had considerable talent as a photographer. That was a rarity. He also had a track record for children both legitimate and not.
