Has anyone been following the Serial Podcast? It is an offshoot on NPR's "This American Life" which covers the same story every week for an entire season.
The initial show is quite interesting, and is about a true crime... the 1999 murder of Baltimore high school student Hae Min Lee, supposedly by her ex-boyfriend Adnan Syed.
It is very interesting, and covers the evidence in minute detail. I have to admit, after listening to the first 5 episodes, I am still on the fence about whether Adnan did it. I am leaning toward thinking he did, but things may change.
Might be interesting to discuss.
A starter point if anyone is following: a post on the website explains why the 3:15 call in Adnan's call log cannot be the come and get me call. I do not really agree with the logic behind this statement, since I think Jay (Adnan's friend) may have simply misremembered if when he made the subsequent call to his girlfriend Jenn's house.
