Junkie babysitter murder of child?

Can anyone recall this rather tragic UK case?
A toddler was chased and stabbed to death by his drug taking hallucinating childminder/babysitter who thought the child was the Devil
The father , a single parent arrived home from work and screamed out of the house after seeing the body in the bedroom
The killer was found a short distance away at a cafe
Happened several years ago

to the dangerzone beyond the light

I don't know if I'll be back tonight

and now all the wheels are turning
I'll think of the words we never said

on a highway to nowhere
nowhere tonight
