Hi all
I've just been watching a documentary on BBC 1 about CS Lewis.
A new book is being published claiming that the Nania chronical's represent the planets. Lion witch and waldrobe: Jupiter. Silver Chair: Moon. Voyage of teh Dawn tredor: Sun, etc and so on.
I dont think this is something that has been discussed on casebook. However I'm always interested in hidden messages and meanings? Do they really exist or do we seek to find meaning where it was never intended.
On the surface this program seems to have highlighted a previously unforeseen element to Lewis work.
I'm yet to do some digging but thought it might make an interesting thread. especially on a casebook that so often is involved in such theories and ideas.
So This thread is to seek views and opinions on the chronicals. Do they represent the planets?
Yours Pirate
PS For some reason I have put Carol not Lewis in the title and I'm unable to change it..I do apologize
