The climax of that movie was a mess-and not in a good way.

    I was rather disappointed.

Sherlock Holmes & Sweeney Todd combo? Ouch.

Anyways, I'd love to see Sherlock Holmes take on Jack The Ripper. A character that only existed in a novel and a serial killer? Oh who will win?

As long as they keep Robert Downey Jr. as Sherlock, I'm fine with it. I wonder who will play JTR.

Hasn't anyone noticed that the trailer is made of a series of short 1 second cuts from the first two SH movies? A fake trailer, if I may say so, Watson!

    Cheers,
    Hercule Poirot

If they are going to get the time line and facts correlated, let alone a sensible plot with a new writer......gonna be a while before principal photography begins.

Might be more fun than the previous Caine and Depp efforts.

Doubted Depp would revisit Jack the Ripper after the first effort

Crikey! If he wants to finally rid himself of Disney and produce the real thing,he can PM me.

I'm sure if the other two films are anything to go by, it will be worth the wait.

Oddly, reckon Depp would be almost perfect as Jack.
    Bit older and taller but.
Capable of playing an Aspie type.

If they've only just announced a new writer today, for the third film, what's this one? Looks like Depp is playing Jack?

Am I missing something here. The trailer suggests that the film has already been made and is poised for release in December?

They just announced a new writer being hired for the third flick today. Doubt it'll see a release this year or even start filming anytime soon.
Honestly, I was really bored with Ritchie's other two Holmes flicks and The Man from U.N.C.L.E. was a train wreck. But hope springs eternal.

Will be heralded by flocks of flying pigs.

Have the first two on Blu Ray.

    Fan of Rachel McAdams.
Friend's cousin wrote one of her best movies.

Reckon she would have been great as Mary Ann Kelly up to a decade ago.

I think the script is being rewritten for No. 3 as we speak. Perhaps they will do a Holmes V's JTR version. Can't wait!

Not seen either of the other two. Will have to lovefilm them.
