  • Jack the Ripper Museum in video game

A new fan-made game called "Fallout: London" was released on July 25th, 2024. It is free to whoever bought Fallout 4 (product page). It is very well-received, even though it has a lot of bugs. It is set in the city of London and includes many real-life locations the player can visit with first-person freedom of movement, from Trafalgar Square, Imperial War Museum, St. Paul's Cathedral, Japan Town, Bank of England, London Bridge, to ... Jack the Ripper Museum. Go to my gameplay video here and go to 2:34:41 to see what it looks like. Sadly, it is an overall disappointment. Other than the audio tape you find at the front desk that gives a summary of the JTR murders, the museum is pretty sparsely decorated, and doesn't have any noteworthy exhibits whatsoever. In one room you find the corpse of a person who apparently committed suicide, but this is hardly unique. This is a post-apocalyptic setting (for those who don't know about Fallout), so you find dead bodies everywhere. You often find charred, skeletonized bodies in pubs, squares, homes, etc., of people who died at the moment of the nuclear explosion.
